The team kicked off analysis on the Hunts Point Lifelines energy pilot project, followed by a site visit to explore the energy resiliency challenges the peninsula faces. Team members later joined the community on a boat tour of the South Bronx coast to observe shoreline conditions, identify flood pathways, and look at other vulnerabilities. These analyses are critical steps in the formulation of the upcoming feasibility study and environmental review for the pilot project.
