Rebuild’s Director Amy Chester will moderate the Nature Conservency’s panel examining the health of New York City’s coast lines in a climate changing world, and what this means for our future.
Friday, October 11th

With rising seas and more frequent, intense storms on the horizon, what does New York City’s future hold? What do we need to put in place now to ensure it? How can we reimagine our waterfront, while also ensuring equity? We have a huge population that is currently vulnerable to climate change, and that number is growing. We will need to implement a suite of tactics to combat the problem: green/grey infrastructure, restoring wetlands, moving populations to safer ground.
