The Lower Manhattan Coastal Resiliency (LMCR) project is an integrated coastal protection initiative to protect residents and businesses; 300,000 jobs, and critical infrastructure (including 19 subway lines) from climate change. The City developed coastal protection measures to design and implement for the community, including the Brooklyn Bridge-Montgomery Coastal Resiliency Project (BMCR).  BMCR is advancing designs to reduce flood risk due to coastal storms and sea level rise for the Two Bridges neighborhood, while providing a vibrant and accessible public waterfront.

The City will share updates on the design and asking for your feedback. Please join to participate in activities to learn more about this essential and innovative resiliency project for the protection of the neighborhood!
