Climate change isn’t coming, it’s here. The City and community are creating a plan to protect the Financial District and South Street Seaport neighborhoods, including many essential functions for the region, from increased coastal flooding.

The City of New York invites you to join us at the Financial District and Seaport Climate Resilience Master Plan’s Virtual Open House to provide input on what you envision for the future of Lower Manhattan. We will explore why the area’s low-lying topography, dense infrastructure, and complex waterfront and maritime uses make it particularly challenging to protect and adapt. Through ongoing discussions around project constraints and opportunities, we will work together to build a plan that provides flood protection infrastructure and responds to the community’s inputs and needs.
