The City of New York is the recipient of a Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery Grant (CDBG-DR) in accordance with the Disaster Relief Appropriations Act, 2013 (Public Law 113-2). As a requirement of this program, New York City will adopt a proposed Amendment to its Action Plan to further describe how the City will use its CDBG-DR allocations to support recovery from Hurricane Sandy and build resiliency to the challenges of climate change specific to the East Side Coastal Resiliency (ESCR) Project. The purpose of this meeting is to allow community members to share their input on the proposed Action Plan Amendment for the ESCR Project.
