There will also be sessions on The Challenges and Opportunities for Design in the New Urban Century, Private Dreams/Public Agendas, and Augmenting the Urban.

Designing for Resilience will be moderated by Joann Gonchar, Senior Editor at Architectural Record, with Amy Chester of Rebuild by Design, David Waggonner of Waggonner & Ball Architects, and Simon David of Bjarke Ingels Group. Five years after Hurricane Sandy, panelists will discuss plans for protecting Manhattan and coastal Connecticut from extreme weather, sea level rise, and storm surge.
