CT Post: BRIDGEPORT — The launch and presentation of the new Plan Bridgeport website will occur at 6 p.m. on June 19, the city Planning Department announced in a tweet.
Plan Bridgeport is a master plan that lays out a 10-year map for city conservation and development goals.
The original draft of the plan was instituted in 2018 with a focus on six themes — livable built environment, interwoven equity, harmony with nature, healthy community, resilient economy and responsible regionalism — but was amended in April after additional input from city officials and residents.
The plan “is a fluid document that can be updated as needed to respond to changes within a community,” according to the current Plan Bridgeport website.
A draft of the plan can be found online.
The website launch event will be held at the B:Hive on 930 Main Street. Pizza will be provided. Read More>> 00:1401:48
