Makenzie Wenninghoff is a Data Analytics and Visualization Assistant at Rebuild by Design, where she supports quantitative analysis, research, and visual storytelling to advance understanding of climate impacts and risk. Her work focuses on translating complex data into compelling visuals that communicate both climate threats and solutions, while identifying how physical and social vulnerabilities intersect to shape climate risk.
Makenzie brings over six years of experience in disaster recovery and mitigation, including work with communities impacted by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. Her work and interests center on community-led relocation and resilient, equitable planning.
Makenzie holds a Master of Urban Planning from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, with a focus on climate, environment, and health, as well as a Master of Public Health.
