Aliyah Kingsley is a Research and Project Coordinator at Rebuild by Design, where she focuses on work in New Hampshire. Aliyah is passionate about climate action and coastal resiliency. As part of her work at Rebuild by Design, she engages in researching climate data and outreach to key stakeholders.
She previously contributed to climate action planning at the Southern Maine Planning & Development Commission, where, as part of the Sustainability & Resilience team, she collaborated with four municipalities to assess vulnerabilities, identify sustainability priorities, and co-develop actionable Climate Action Plans. Her work included synthesizing demographic, climate, and policy data, and sourcing coastal resilience funding opportunities to support long-term adaptation initiatives. She has also worked at the U.S. State Department, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Clark University, contributing to international outreach, federal program design, and cross-cultural education.
Aliyah holds a M.A. of Environmental Law & Policy from Vermont Law School and a B.A. in History from Clark University. Aliyah lives in New Hampshire and enjoys walking in the woods with human and canine companions.
