Living With the Bay’s design team has started working with Hempstead Lake State Park and all municipalities within the Mill River Watershed to define the infrastructure program elements that will most effectively improve water quality and flood management. In concert with design development, the Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery has initiated a social resilience program that consists of educational and workforce development programs to ensure that stewardship of the ecosystems is engrained in the community by the time the program elements are in place.
