Bridgeport, CT – The Resilient Bridgeport Think Tank (the Citizens Advisory Committee for Community Engagement) met to respond to the the proposed outreach plan and schedule, beginning with the next community workshop which will take place on June 10th.
The design team convened for an internal workshop at the Yale Urban Design Workshop to finalize the Design Conditions Report initiated the previous month. This atlas, will form the foundation for the team’s recommendations and also serve as a resource for city staff, community groups, and future consultants working on projects in the study area.
At that workshop, the team also began identifying potential pilot project sites and opportunities as well as design implementation strategies for the entire project area of the South End and Black Rock Harbor. These will be presented to the community for input leading to the selection of a pilot project in the Fall of 2016.
