The City of Bridgeport hosted two meetings last week. At the first meeting, the team presented the project overview, initial strategy, and project concepts at Marina Village, a property at the heart of the project area. At the second, they presented these same strategy and project concepts to residents and stakeholders from throughout the study area. That afternoon, the consultant team led a participatory workshop that included a robust conversation about physical models of the study area and about the project area where different resiliency strategies could be tested.

Small meetings will be held with various stakeholders over the remainder of the summer, building up to the next public workshop in early September. The team will construct mock-ups for that meeting to demonstrate the physical implications of some of the design ideas for the neighborhood.
