Scale it Up offered two weekends of hands-on workshops that allowed people to experience the city in new ways and imagined how it could be changed.
The program offered residents to take a bike tour along the Pequonnock River with architects and ecologists, looking at the city’s relationship to water. The tour ended at a downtown storefront, where participants learned basic design skills and proposed their ideas for improving the river. The results of the workshops were exhibited at a public event at Bridgeport Public Library Saturday, March 15.
