An evening event discussed resiliency innovations as applicable to Red Hook and the surrounding region. The HR&A with Cooper, Robertson & Partners team presented on ideas for Red Hook, including business and building-level resiliency interventions and corridor and neighborhood-wide interventions, and accompanying strategies for implementation. A number of other guest speakers, including the Brooklyn Greenway Initiative and members of the Sandy Design Help Desk also presented ideas for Red Hook during this special session, part of a weekend-long New York Rising open house event, with open conversation and refreshments provided on Saturday evening.
