Presented by the NYC Mayor’s Office of Recovery and Resiliency, join the BIG team and LESReady! at two community engagement sessions on the Big U project – now called the East Side Coastal Resiliency Project.

Thursday, March 19 at Bard High School Early College, 525 East Houston Street, New York

Monday, March 23 at Washington Irving High School, 40 Irving Place, New York

The purpose of this project is to reduce the risks from extreme weather and climate change, as well as improve quality of life. This project focuses on neighborhoods near the East River between Montgomery and 23rd Streets.

Active community involvement is a key component of the project’s success.Light refreshments will be served.
