The City of New York will host a community input session for stakeholders to provide input on future plans for the Asser Levy and Murphy Brothers Playgrounds. These two playgrounds will be redesigned as part of the City’s East Side Coastal Resiliency (ESCR) project. The ESCR project aims to reduce coastal flooding impacts, improve resiliency, and enhance the public waterfront along the East River between Montgomery Street and East 25th Street.
Children are encouraged to attend, and a children’s activity is planned. Light refreshments will be provided. The location is wheelchair accessible. For special needs assistance or translation, please contact Fay Lee at (718) 391-2411 or leefa@ddc.nyc.gov by February 8, 2017. For more information on the East Side Coastal Resiliency Project, visit the project website at www.nyc.gov/escr/.
