Bay Area Selects Design Opportunity Sites

Earlier this month, the Resilient Bay Area Challenge selected 10 Bay Area sites for further development. From now until May 2018, Design Teams, communities, and local stakeholders will work together to protect vulnerable communities facing rising sea levels and rising rents, while charting a course forward that is rooted in regional collaboration.

Over the next 5 months, the 10 interdisciplinary Design Teams will use their technical expertise and the local knowledge to work with residents, community organizations, and city officials to create a design intervention to address sea level rise, severe flooding, and seismic risks. Learn more about the sites here>>
