DESIGN ZONE MEETINGS ADVANCE HUDSON RIVER PROJECT

The Hudson River Project team conducted three neighborhood meetings for this summer to elicit residents’ opinions about various design options for infrastructure proposed in design zones 1-3 to reduce flood risk in Hoboken and adjacent parts of Weehawken and Jersey City. To complement the ongoing  “design-zone” meetings, the N.J. Department of Environmental Protection has posted an illustrated survey on its project website to gather feedback. The input will inform the next round of “design-zone” meetings, which will seek opinions about the materials to be recommended for structures, public amenities, and open spaces along the alignment. Check out the survey here>>
