Judy Huynh is a Research Assistant & Project Manager at Rebuild by Design, where she skillfully applies her Master of Urban Planning from NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service to advance climate resilience initiatives. Originating from Toronto, Canada, and equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Design from the University of Waterloo, Judy brings a robust foundation in urban planning and design to her role.

At Rebuild by Design, Judy manages dynamic partnerships with community organizations and city agencies, fostering inclusive and implementation-driven processes to enhance urban resilience. She orchestrates strategic project management, from data collection and analysis using tools like ArcGIS and Adobe Creative Suite, to communications and grant writing.

Judy’s responsibilities also include engaging with a diverse array of stakeholders—including cities, businesses, and community groups—to co-create blueprints for resilient infrastructure. Her work incorporates innovative research, design, and policy solutions, building on her prior experience at the Port Authority’s Planning & Regional Development Department where she explored emerging technologies to improve urban living.
