TED TURNER DRIVE RESILIENCE CORRIDOR CHALLENGE OPEN HOUSE

Atlanta, GA 30303

Please join us on April 5th to learn about and give feedback on the preliminary designs proposed by six local university teams for the Ted Turner Drive Resilience Corridor Competition. The City of Atlanta, in partnership with Central Atlanta Progress, 100 Resilient Cities, and Rebuild by Design, is hosting a university student design competition to make the Ted Turner Drive corridor a model of sustainability and resilience that can be replicated with other future city infrastructure projects.

After several weeks of research, including site visits, mapping, and data analysis, the student teams have begun the phase of the competition in which they develop preliminary design plans for Ted Turner Drive with a focus on transportation, green infrastructure, and urban design.

We want the public to have an opportunity to preview and provide input on the design proposals before they are finalized. We will be hosting an open house where students will present their preliminary designs and receive interactive feedback from you. Following the open house, students will have two weeks to re-calibrate their designs before submitting for judging on April 20th. To RSVP>>
