Join the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) at a Rebuild by Design Meadowlands Public Meeting to discuss project improvements throughout the project area including flood risk reduction elements and ecological and community features. The Rebuild By Design Meadowlands Flood Protection Project is a comprehensive urban water management project designed to reduce the risk of floods from frequent rainfall events in the Boroughs of Little Ferry, Moonachie, Carlstadt, Teterboro and the Township of South Hackensack, all in Bergen County, N.J. The proposed project improvements include new pump stations, channel improvements, a new forcemain, native planting and green infrastructure at Joseph St. Park, Little Ferry Borough Hall, Little Ferry Public Library, Memorial Middle School, a new public riverfront park, and right-of-way green infrastructure type improvements at various locations.

This public meeting will include updates on all components of the Rebuild by Design Meadowlands project, followed by an Open House where you can ask questions or get a more detailed explanation of project components that are of particular interest to you.

The meeting is open to the general public. Please spread the word to other interested stakeholders!
