As part of the Project Team’s plan to mitigate flooding in Bridgeport, a neighborhood stormwater park is being proposed. They’re looking for input from children, families, and residents in the design of the park. The event will include activities for kids and parents, lunch, and a raffle! About the Project

Resilient Bridgeport is a prototype for the region’s coastal cities. It consists of a resilience strategy that is described in Planning for Adaptation and a pilot project and design proposals that are described in Projects + Proposals. The pilot project is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and focuses on protecting housing in the South End from chronic and acute flooding.
