Tara Eisenberg joined the Rebuild by Design team in 2013 via NYU’s Institute for Public Knowledge. She serves as our Project Manager, coordinating ongoing research efforts, supporting city initiatives, leading RBD_U, and running Rebuild's exhibitions.
Prior to coming to Rebuild, Tara worked at NYU as a coordinator of their Sustainability Program where she managed a task force comprised of staff and faculty members to facilitate the implementation of sustainable practices around campus. She has experience working in the green building and non-profit sectors, and brings to Rebuild her talent for connecting people, places, expertise, and research.
A lifelong New Yorker who studied at NYU for both her BS and MA degrees, Tara is passionate about environmental design and believes collective action and education are key components to responding to our changing climate.
When not at work or traveling, Tara can usually be found riding her bike around Brooklyn or making food for friends.
