Allen Kratz, Project Manager

Allen Kratz brings four decades of experience in economic development, project management and historic preservation to the Rebuild team, where he serves as a Project Manager. Previously, Allen worked in real estate and economic development for NJ Transit, the statewide transit agency and was a gubernatorial appointee to the New Jersey Historic Trust, which funds historic preservation. A lawyer by trade, Allen redrafted his hometown of Hoboken’s historic preservation ordinance and obtained National Register of Historic Places designation for two buildings in the city. As president of the Hoboken Public Library’s board of trustees, Allen is overseeing a $3.2M rehabilitation project to preserve the 1897 library building and protect it from sea-level rise, coastal flooding and extreme weather.
